The Coronavirus has prompted a massive, full-blown exodus from traditional person-to-person functions to complete digital migration: all industries from manufacturing and industrialization to education, retail to entertainment have been impacted. Although COVID19 has adversely affected a variety of industries, the sudden digital push has caused a movement of digital innovators to arise in search of AI-fueled solutions to aid and even optimize impacted industries. In this series, we hold a discussion with the guests listed below in order to better understand the current state of global digital transformation, how corporations are coping with the impact, adapting to the “new normal”, and how existing AI-driven solutions can help rethink the way in which we will live and work in the post-Covid world.

Series #2 - Reloaded: AI solutions for Healthcare and Public Health

Healthcare has received the most attention in the fight against Coronavirus, exposing various weaknesses in the current system and shedding light on areas in dire need of improvement. The disaster of PPE shortages, insufficient testing capabilities, long regulatory procedures, and lack of coordination are just a glimpse into the many reasons for the need to redesign our healthcare system. Digital solutions to the crisis have also brought about concerns with regards to privacy and security, in large part due to the rise in contact tracing, telemedicine, and remote diagnostics, among other crucial factors. In this series on Healthcare and Public Health, we will be holding a dialogue with the guests listed below to lay out a clear framework for AI-driven solutions that can mend archaic regulatory processes, ensure the safety and security of patients, optimize medical procedures, and the ultimate race to secure a vaccine.

Nations are only just beginning to crawl out of this chaos, which has proven the need for stronger national security protocols and solutions to deal with extreme events like pandemics. Governments have largely been looking towards AI-powered solutions, meaning that the need for responsible and ethical AI implementations has never been greater. In this episode of the series, we will be holding a dialogue with the guests listed below to take a deeper dive into the issue of national security and the need for Responsible and Ethical AI solutions, as well as current solutions that are in store, to ease the strain caused by COVID-19.
